How to turn on a gas boiler?

The start-up and pressure-boosting steam supply process of a gas boiler can be divided into the following steps:

Preparations before start-up: First, conduct a comprehensive inspection, including whether the boiler body, burner, ancillary equipment and safety accessories, valves, instruments, etc. are flexible and in the correct position. After confirming that everything is normal, you can start filling the boiler with water.
Filling the boiler with water: Open the drain valve to bring the water level up to the normal level. This process usually takes a few minutes. Make sure the water level reaches the normal value and then close the drain valve.
Furnace purging: Turn on the air blower to ventilate and purge the furnace and flue. The purging time usually takes about 10 minutes to ensure that there is no residual gas in the furnace and the replacement is qualified.
Ignition and combustion: After the furnace purging is completed, ignition and combustion can be started. After ignition is completed, the combustion amount is adjusted according to the required load, and the boiler is put into normal operation.
Monitor the water level: During the startup process, the water level changes must be closely monitored to prevent the boiler from being short of water or full of water.

When the gas boiler is operating normally, it is also necessary to frequently check its operating status, including water level, pressure, gas pipeline leakage, etc. If any abnormality is found, the furnace should be shut down immediately for inspection and timely measures should be taken to eliminate the fault.

In general, the opening process of a gas boiler needs to follow certain steps, and attention must be paid to safety and environmental issues. During normal operation, frequent inspection and maintenance are also required to maintain its good working condition.
